Payment

Rates are as listed and payment is due at the time service is rendered. NOVA PS does not accept health insurance. However, NOVA PS does provide invoices that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Please contact providers directly to discuss questions about fee schedules.

INCLEMENT WEATHER

In some cases of inclement weather, we may have to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If there is inclement weather (i.e., hurricane, snowstorm, ice storm under 34 degrees Fahrenheit) on the day of your appointment, you should check your email to see if you have been notified by your provider. 

  • If you need to cancel your appointment due to inclement weather, you may cancel without a fee. Please contact your provider at least three hours before your appointment to cancel. If you do not show up or call after your appointment time, you will be charged a missed appointment/late cancellation fee regardless of the weather.

  • Based on your provider’s discretion, they may be able to offer a safe & secure telehealth option.

  • If you have any doubts or questions, contact your clinician.


USING YOUR HSA/FSA CARD

We accept HSA cards; however, you may want to confirm that your HSA plan will cover services. Please contact your insurance company to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services. We are happy to provide you with additional documentation.


CANCELLATIONS 

  • Unless otherwise negotiated, fees are as listed and payment is due at the time service is rendered.  

  • The full session fee will be charged for missed appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.

  • If you accidentally forget your appointment or show up at the wrong time, NOVA PS will do its best to reschedule your appointment within the same week’s time frame. Otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee. 

  • Insurance companies will not reimburse for missed appointments or phone consultations.
